US records more than 100,000 COVID-19 cases in single day

Lahore, 6th August: US reports a shocking number of daily new COVID-19 cases that climbed to a six-month high with more than 100,000 infections reported nationwide. According to details, there is a worrying rise in coronavirus cases in the United States when 100,000 cases emerged over the past 24 hours after the Delta variant ravaged Florida and other states with lower vaccination rates. Reuters data on Wednesday showed that the seven-day average of newly reported cases reached nearly 95,000, which is a five-fold increase in less than a month.
