Baaghi TV: Leading Pakistani actress, Ushna Shah, joins debate pertaining to the construction of temple within capital territory in Pakistan.

Leading actress of Pakistan showbiz industry Ushna Shah has quoted the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, on social media concerning the suspension of construction work of the temple in Islamabad by the Capital Development Authority (CDA).

The construction work of the temple has been stopped by the CDA in the federal capital Islamabad and while social media users are expressing their views in this regard, well-known actress Ushna Shah has also launched a debate on the social networking site.

In her tweet, Ushna Shah wrote a famous quote based on the historical words of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, in which he spoke about equality and freedom for minorities to perform their religious rites without any fear.

Quaid-e-Azam had said that you are free to go to your temples. You are free to visit your mosques or any other places of worship in this state of Pakistan. You can belong to any religion, caste or creed, it has nothing to do with state business.

Before Ushna Shah, Hamza Ali Abbasi shared a message on the social networking site Twitter regarding the controversy over the construction of a temple in Islamabad in which he wrote that Pakistan is not a kingdom.

He wrote that we Muslims did not believe in Pakistan. We are a Muslim-majority state. On August 14, 1947, a resident of a Muslim-majority area automatically became a citizen of Pakistan. Avoid further hypocrisy. Hamza Ali Abbasi wrote that he admitted that there is widespread religious discrimination in Pakistan.
