Uzbek Ambassador to Pakistan Meets COAS
RAWALPINDI: Uzbek Ambassador to Pakistan Aybek Arif Usmanov today called on Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters (GHQ).
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Uzbek envoy and COAS Bajwa discussed matters of mutual interest, regional security, and bilateral cooperation between the two countries, during their meeting.

The COAS said that Pakistan values its relations with Uzbekistan, especially the defense cooperation, according to ISPR. In addition, the two reiterated their desire to further enhance bilateral ties including efforts for peace and security in the region.
According to the ISPR, the Uzbek Ambassador to Pakistan appreciated Pakistan’s role in regional stability and pledged to continue working for better relations between the two brotherly states.
