Colombian President Iván Duque has called Venezuela a time bomb for public health.  

According to him, there are no reliable reports about the neighboring country, what is the status of the virus there, this is a problem for Colombia itself, which is trying to control the virus itself.

According to Venezuela, the total number of infected people in the country is 4,600, while only 39 people have died from the virus.  Colombia has a total of 80,600 victims and more than 2,600 deaths.

The Colombian president told Reuters in an interview that information about Venezuela was not available.  There is not much capacity in hospitals to deal with the pandemic.For a long time, Venezuela did not even have a vaccine program.

He said he believed Venezuela was a time bomb from a public health point of view.
