Veteran actor Anwar Iqbal needs prayers as his health deteriorates
Lahore, 25th June: Pakistani veteran actor and director Anwar Iqbal Baloch needs prayers as his health is deteriorating fast.
The family of the 70-year-old actor urged fans to pray for his health. According to reports, the actor is very sick, however, no other details of his condition are known.
Pictures of the senior actor, who rose to fame in 1976 after PTV’s hit drama series ‘Shama’, have been doing the round since Thursday. In the recent images, the actor can be seen in a very fragile and bedridden condition.
One of the Pakistani journalists, Mahwish Ajaz posted on Twitter:

She tweeted, “Have just spoken to Anwar Iqbal Saab’s daughter. She said he needs our prayers and that’s it. So let’s remember to pray for him and send him good wishes.”
It is to be noted that Anwar Iqbal not only acted in dramas but also directed a drama for PTV and produced a Sindhi drama too.
Anwar Iqbal, born on December 25, 1949, is the son of a well-known politician from Balochistan Mr. Haji Muhammed Iqbal Baloch, who played a prominent role in the independence of Pakistan.
