Victoria Secret’s boss cuts ties with Harvard University for criticising Israel
The Wexner Foundation, a philanthropic organization owned by Leslie Wexner and his wife Abigail, has decided to sever its ties with Harvard University due to Harvard’s response to the Israel-Hamas conflict. According to the New York Post, the foundation sent a letter to Harvard’s board on Monday, officially ending its financial support.
The decision came after Harvard did not condemn a student body’s statement holding Israel “entirely responsible” for the ongoing violence. The organization stated in its letter that it would be discontinuing its financial and programmatic relationship with Harvard and the Harvard Kennedy School.
