VIDEO: Man attempts suicide by jumping off the Orange Line train tracks
LAHORE: A citizen attempted suicide by jumping off the overhead tracks of the Orange Line train. The incident took place near Chouburji Chowk.
A 45-year-old man attempted suicide by jumping from the Choburji Orange Line station track. People gathered at the scene reportedly called the Police via 15, as the man jumped from the tracks.

According to a Baaghi TV report, the man continued to hang from the ends of the overhead tracks while the people at the scene called for a sheet and held it down. The man then jumped from his position on the bridge and onto the sheet. Reportedly sustaining injuries before being transferred to a nearby medical facility for treatment.

The suicide victim has been identified as Sagheer. Parts of his body including his leg and shoulder have been injured. Rescue officials have transferred Sagheer to Ganga Ram Hospital where he is receiving treatment. A police team reached the facility and initiated its investigation of the incident.
