We did not launch drone or rocket attacks, only acted in defense: DG ISPR | Baaghi TV

Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif has clarified that Pakistan has neither carried out drone strikes nor launched any airstrikes. Only small arms fire is being fired at Indian military posts along the Line of Control (LoC).

In an interview with Turkish broadcaster TRT World, he said that India wants to gain political advantage by accusing Pakistan of terrorism, while there is no evidence for such claims. He urged India to stop making accusations without evidence. Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif said that India targeted six different locations in Pakistan, including civilian population, mosques, women and children.

He referred to India’s claim of Pakistan carrying out drone or airstrikes as “lies and fiction”. He said that if something like this had really happened, there would definitely be some digital evidence of it, because this is the 21st century. The DG ISPR asked India if it has Pakistani pilots, where are they?

He added that after the attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Pakistan showed responsibility and offered India an independent and impartial investigation, but India refused to accept it.
