Western border with Iran reopens for trade

The government has decided to reopen the western border with Iran, which was closed due to the corona virus.The Interior Ministry issued a declaration to open the borders in the light of the decision taken at the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) meeting.
According to the announcement, it has been decided to open the border at Gabd, Mand, Katagar and Chidgi. These borders will be opened as usual from the morning of July 5.According to the Interior Ministry, under the Corona SOPs and protocols, only trade will be allowed through these borders, only imports and exports will be allowed through these borders.These borders will be open seven days a week and trade will be on schedule, allowing unlimited trucks to pass through these locations.It should be noted that the Taftan border was closed after the escalation of Corona cases in Iran and visitors coming to Pakistan from Iran were being kept in quarantine in Pakistan House.
