WhatsApp rolls out global voice note player to more users

After releasing the global voice note player for WhatsApp web/desktop and iOS, the Meta-owned messaging company is finally the feature available for Android users as well, WABetainfo on Wednesday.

Formerly, a voice note stopped when users switched to a different chat on Wednesday. But now, the users will be able WhatsApp to switch different chats within the application to send or view another message while a voice note is playing in the background.

“To discover if the feature is available for your WhatsApp account, just play a voice message and go back to your chats list: if you see a new player bar, it means the feature is enabled,” the WhatsApp news tracker explained.

Moreover, the feature is not limited to voice notes only, but it will work for the incoming and outgoing audio files.

However, the feature has been rolled out for certain beta testers so if anyone does not see the feature enabled on their Android version, it means they have not received the update yet.
