Lahore July 3 (Online Int’l): Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said that there can never be any alternative to Prime Minister Imran Khan in the party.

Whenever PTI comes to power Imran Khan will be the Prime Minister.

He was talking with PTI MNA Sadaqat Abbasi during a meeting on Friday at Governor House, Lahore.

The governor said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is standing firm with Prime Minister Imran Khan like a rock. The public has given us a five years mandate. Imran Khan will be the Prime Minister in 2023 too.

All resources will be channelized and spent for domestic development. He said that the government is implementing practical mechanisms to solve the economic woes of the country.

He said we believe in across the board accountability in Pakistan. All institutions, including NAB, are working independently without any pressure. We are making institutions strong and cleansing them of political interference. Corrupt persons irrespective of political affiliations will be held accountable.

For the first time, decisions are being made on the basis of merit and transparency in Pakistan. Across the board accountability is indispensable for the progress of Pakistan.

Governor Punjab said that all allied parties are standing by the government. In the budget, allied parties also supported the government. No ally is talking about thwarting the government. The government will complete a five year term. People have mandated us to rule for five years.

He said that Pakistan is facing multiple challenges including Corona at this time. The government is trying to overcome all its challenges.

MNA Sadaqat Abbasi said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is the only leader who can get rid of corruption and other issues.
