Which parts of Gujranwala to come under Smart Lockdown?

Tuesday, June 16th: According to the Punjab Health Department, a decision has been taken to launch smart lockdown in five areas of Gujranwala.

Areas where Smart Lockdown has been decided include Model Town, Satellite Town, Wapda Town, People’s Colony and Qila Deedar Singh.

The health department identified the most affected areas this month. Police will take care of lockdown arrangements in the most affected areas of Coronavirus. It should be noted that from today, different areas of Lahore will also be sealed.

As per the government decision, 80 hotspots in Lahore will be sealed from tonight. The decision was taken in view of the rising number of cases of coronavirus, which has been declared a global pandemic.

Under the government decision, Mustafa Town, Canal View, EME, Wapda Town and PCSIR Phase 2 will also be sealed. Bahria Town’s Jasmine, Gulbahar, Executive Block, DHA Phase, Three, Five and Four, Askari 9 and 10 will be completely sealed.

Allama Iqbal Town will have Sutlej Block, Rachna Block, Nargis Block and Raza Block Cell due to being declared a hotspot under the administrative decision.
