Revealed: Why Did PCB Remove Sarfraz Ahmad as Captain?

LAHORE (18th Oct, 2019): Sarfraz Ahmad disappointed Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and cricket fans regarding his bad performance in Test matches and T20I matches.

According to details, Pakistan has lost last 4 T20I matches under the captaincy of Sarfraz Ahmad. Moreover, Sarfraz Ahmad batting stats in the last 12 months is also alarming. He played six innings in T20I in the last 12 months where he scored only 101 runs with the average of 20.20. His strike-rate in T20I was only 112.22. Moreover, in last 12 months, Sarfraz Ahmad did not score any fifty or century in T20I matches.

New Test Captain Reveals His Top Priority

On the other hand, Pakistan has won only 1 Test match in last six matches and lost 5 of them. Overall in 13 Test matches, Pakistan has only won 4 under the captaincy of Sarfraz Ahmad, Pakistan lost 8 of them, whereas, 1 Test match was drawn.

Reportedly, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) removed Sarfraz Ahmad from captaincy of Test and T20I matches due to his bad performance.
