Lahore, 6th October: Pakistani actress Mahwish Hayat has come under fire from social media users and celebrities for her recent biscuit advertisement. Actress Mehwish Hayat embroiled in controversy pertaining to a new advertisement, for a local biscuit company, which has reportedly taken the nation by storm. The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has also directed a review of the advertisement’s content. The Chhalawa actress shared the advertisement on her Twitter handle with the caption “Let me take you on a majestic journey of our #des, as the most awaited #deskayqissay is unveiled.” She went on to tweet that filming for the television commercial (TVC) was a pleasure since it provided her with the opportunity to “cherish the cultural diversity of our des”.
