Dr. Asad Abbas of the Pakistani contingent at the Tokyo Olympics has made an important revelation regarding Arshad Nadeem who hoisted the national flag in the javelin throw.
Dr. Asad Abbas says that Arshad Nadeem had pain in his elbow due to which he could not throw properly and he decided not to go to the Olympics due to pain in his arm but he was fit to participate in the Olympics.
Dr. Asad Abbas said that even in Tokyo, Arshad Nadeem was hesitant while throwing so that the pain would not come out again but he was assured and then Arshad Nadeem performed with courage.
He said that the coach of the Indian athlete was scared and he said that Arshad Nadeem is capable of throwing more than 90 meters.
Dr. Asad Abbas said that seven officials came with an Indian player of Javelin Throw. If our players are financially prosperous with training, then they are no less than anyone.
It may be recalled that Neeraj Chopra of India had won a gold medal in the javelin throw at the Tokyo Olympics while Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan was in the fifth position.
