Ahmed said that when he passes in front of big hotels, he remembers his past that he used to drink tea and eat in these big hotels and used to cover the press conference. Remembering the time when he used to meet great ministers, advisers and celebrities, he used to meet good people.
Ahmed said emotionally that now they are on the road, someone is abusive here, traffic people are harassing.
He said that he had been sitting idle for three or four years. If he went to any channel or any office, they would ask him to give his CV. When he gave his CV, they would say that you are a media person. HR stood there and say that you are the cameraman of the news channel? I said yes and tell them the names of the health reporters. He said that you are not fit for this job. You do not have glamour.
“What does glamour mean? My children are hungry. There is nothing to eat at home. They were expelled from school and tuition. What to do with such glamour?”
Ahmed said emotionally that sometimes I don’t go home at night, I keep crying in the rickshaw, children go to sleep then I go home. Ahmed said that it is difficult now. Today, life has come to a standstill. I am walking around with a tourist’s card in my pocket. I do not like to stand in lines and take rations.
