Youth Development Foundation promoting interfaith harmony: Ejaz Alam Augustine.

Lahore:Provincial Minister for Human Rights and Minority Affairs Ejaz Alam Augustine said that the role of Youth Development Foundation in eradicating intolerant attitudes among religious minorities and especially youth and promoting mutual love is commendable. He said that the recent participation of a large number of youth belonging to all religions in the Holi celebrations was a testament to the efforts of the Youth Development Foundation. The provincial minister expressed these views while meeting with team of YDF led by Shahid Rehmat, head of Youth Development Foundation at Human Rights office on Monday. Shahid Rehmat told the provincial minister that his team consisted of youths belonging to different religions, while for the first time Holi celebrations were held in his office. Team members Roshni Kumari and Urooj Jahangir thanked the provincial minister for attending the Holi function. On the occasion, the provincial minister said that all the festivals of religious minorities are being given special importance whereas in the past this has not been seen at all while the services of the youth development Foundation in promoting the culture of interfaith are remarkable. He stressed, we should all share in each other’s joys and sorrows so to ensure the establishment of a state where peace and love can be seen everywhere.
