Zafar Abbas announces construction of Free IT city in Karachi

Social activist Zafar Abbas has announced the construction of an IT city in Karachi at Five Star Chowrangi North Nazimabad.

It is to provide training from specialist IT teachers and various valuable free courses on Amazon, Daraz, Ebay, Ali Baba, and other IT-related topics in three months.

People of all ages will be welcomed between 9 a.m. and 11 p.m and the registration period will commence in the next week.

In a video on his Twitter, he elaborated on the benefit of these free courses, which would usually be of considerable costs. He introducing a young man, Abdul Wahab Khan, who has earned about $5000 in just one year (with a maximum of 5 to 8 lakh a month) of completing his free course.

Zafar Abbas encouraged people to register, sharing further details for the registration.

In another video he discussed how the new courses can help eradicate poverty and create happier and fulfilled homes where people can earn from the comfort of their own homes and can work part-time.

In some videos on his Twitter he was joined by Senior TV anchor Mudassir Iqbal and Hafiz Rehmat Sahib from the government and they spoke on the great value of such a facility and initiative.

In some videos he showed the building which is being prepared for the impending classes and thanked the Sindh Government, DC Saleem and others.

Zafar Abbas is the General Secretary of Jafaria Disaster Cell (JDC), a Welfare Organization established in 2009 by Karachi students. JDC aims to aid all, with no discrimination in terms of color, caste or religion. With this organisation, he has given food to more than 10,000 people in Ramadan.
