The head office of Zameen.com, Pakistan’s largest real estate portal, in Lahore was sealed today around 1:30 pm (local time) due to the violation of a Punjab government order regarding the closure of educational institutes and private offices on Monday (today).
According to the details, the directive was issued by Babar Hayat Tarar, Punjab Relief Commissioner, to act “as a preventive and speedy remedy” to ensure “public safety, conserve lives and preempt and mitigate imminent threat of smog in the province of Punjab”, states the order.
Baaghi TV has learnt through a reliable source that as a result of the violation by Zameen.com, the office (located on MM Alam Road, Gulberg, Lahore) was sealed by the concerned authorities. Furthermore, Baaghi TV’s source revealed that the assistant commissioner (AC) along with some other government officials walked up to the office reception and sealed the premises.

It is pertinent to mention here that all educational institutes and private offices in Lahore will be closed three days a week i.e Saturday, Sunday and Monday from November 27, 2021 till January 15, 2021.
The move comes days after Lahore topped the list of cities with the most polluted air in the world after air quality levels turned hazardous.
