Zardari shifted to PIMS from Adiala Jail

Former President Asif Ali Zardari has been moved to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) from Adiala Jail where he will undergo a medical checkup, according to the jail officials.

Former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Zardari has been shifted to PIMS on the recommendation of the medical board of the central jail.

As per the jail officials, Zardari will stay at the cardiac centre of PIMS which will be designated as a “sub jail” for the former president while he undergoes medical treatment here.

According to sources of Baaghi TV, Asif Zardari suffers from a severe back pain for which he will undergo physiotherapy sessions.

Last week, the medical board recommended that Asif Zardari should be transferred to the hospital which were forwarded to the Interior Ministry.
