Zayn Malik slams the 2021 Grammy Awards nominations

Lahore, 10th March: British singer Zayn Malik has sharply criticized the nominations for the world’s most popular Grammy Awards.
Baaghi TV: Singer Zayn Malik recently slammed the Grammy Awards nominations saying that the award never goes to the well-deserved person.
Malik took to his official Twitter page and lashed out at the prestigious award ceremony alleging that Grammys and all the people associated with it do not nominate unless a person shakes hands and send them loads of gifts.
Fuck the grammys and everyone associated. Unless you shake hands and send gifts, there’s no nomination considerations. Next year I’ll send you a basket of confectionary.

“Next year I will send you a basket full of confectionary,” Zayn Malik said sarcastically to the Grammy Awards administration.
Following his tweet where he sharply criticized the Grammy Awards, Zayn Malik sent another tweet to clarify his stance.
My tweet was not personal or about eligibility but was about the need for inclusion and the lack of transparency of the nomination process and the space that creates and allows favoritism, racism, and netwokring politics to influence the voting process

He wrote, “My tweet was not personal or about eligibility but was about the need for inclusion and the lack of transparency of the nomination process and the space that creates and allows favouritism, racism, and networking politics to influence the voting process.”
It is to be noted that the British singer Zayn Malik, 28, recently released his third album ‘Nobody is Listening’ in January 2021 making it eligible for next year’s ceremony.
Malik’s song ‘Better,’ the lead single for ‘Nobody Is Listening,’ was released on September 25, 2020, and falls outside of the eligibility period, which ended on August 31, 2020.
It is to be noted that Malik was previously nominated for a Grammy in 2018. His song ‘Fifty Shades’ which was a collaboration with singer Taylor Swift, ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,’ was up for best song written for visual media, but it lost to Lin-Manuel Miranda’s ‘How Far I’ll Go.’
