Zohaib Hassan’s emotional message on Nazia Hassan’s death anniversary
Baaghi TV: On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the pop singer, her brother Zohaib Hassan issued a message with a picture of Nazia Hassan and paid tribute to her.
In his message on social media website Instagram, Zohaib Hassan wrote “Rest in Peace my dear sister the world tributes you today not only for the incredible music you left behind but also for your kind heart and caring personality. Missing you… Your bro Zoheb”.

Nazia Hassan was born on April 3, 1965 in Karachi, She graduated from the American College of London. Stepped into the world of music with the popular PTV program ‘Sang Sang Chale’. In 1980, at the age of fifteen, she reached the heights of fame. When she sang the song “Ap Jaisa Koi Mein Zindagi Aaye To Baat Ban Jaaye” from the Indian film Qurbani, Nazia Hassan’s debut album ‘Disco Deewane’ released in 1981 brought her more fame, which had a profound effect on the mood of the young generation in Pakistan and India.
Nazia Hassan and her brother Zoheb Hassan released four albums in 1982 under the names Boom Boom, Young Tarang in 1986, Hotline in 1987 and Camera Camera in 1992 which became very popular. She was posthumously awarded the Pride of Performance by the Government of Pakistan in 2002.
Nazia Hassan died of lung cancer on August 13, 2000 at the age of 35. But her music and voice has not been forgotten by fans to this day.
