Punjab vaccination campaign started
Lahore, February 3: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar and Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar inaugurated the Corona Vaccine Campaign in Punjab.
Frontline health workers were vaccinated against corona in the presence of Chief Minister Usman Bazdar and Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar.
Dr. Faraz and Lady Dr. Samavia Akbar of Rawalpindi Institute of Urology were vaccinated against corona and a vaccination campaign was launched in Punjab. Chief Minister Usman Bazdar and Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar observed the vaccination process.
Corona vaccination ceremony for doctors was held at Punjab House Islamabad. In the first phase, the campaign to vaccinate frontline health workers of the province has been formally launched today. In the second phase, corona vaccine will be given to senior citizens along with health workers. –
The government will provide free vaccines to the citizens. 189 corona vaccination centers have been set up in Punjab. Complete data of corona vaccinators will be kept safe in the vaccination centers.
Registration of more than 4 lakh front line health care workers has been completed – Technical training has been provided to more than 600 people in 36 districts of Punjab so far – Master trainers have been prepared for further staff training – Punjab has received 70,000 doses of Corona vaccine – More The vaccine will also be available in the next three weeks.
To protect corona vaccine, 2500 ice line refrigerators have been set up in 36 districts of Punjab. Friends are grateful to China for providing corona vaccine to Pakistan. China has stood by Pakistan in every hour of need. Will always be remembered – Precautions to be taken to prevent coronas are strictly enforced – Contact tracing in Punjab is higher than other provinces.
The world appreciates the steps taken to control the coronavirus in Pakistan.
The Punjab government has allocated more than Rs 1 billion for the purchase of corona vaccine if required.
