Eighteen doctors of the orthopaedic ward at Lahore General Hospital became infected with Corona, after which the MS General Hospital initially closed the orthopaedic ward for three days.

According to the management of Lahore General Hospital, after the corona test of 18 doctors of the orthopaedic ward came positive, the head of the orthopaedic ward has written a letter to the principal stating that the remaining doctors of the ward have been quarantined.

MS General Hospital Mahmood Tariq said that the ward was initially closed and disinfected for three days after a large number of cases came to light.

Following reports of surge in Coronavirus cases, General Hospital MS Mahmood Tariq initially closed orthopedic ward for three days and disinfected it to contain further spread.

“Three doctors and two nurses of the Institute of Neuroscience are also among the persons who tested positive for Coronavirus,” the sources said.

The doctors and paramedical staff played the role of frontline heroes in fight against Coronavirus and saved many lives across the country.
