Karachi, 19th October: The mausoleum of our Quaid Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Karachi is a Historical Monument of national importance.

Baaghi TV: An Ordinance was passed on 14th October 1971 to provide for the protection and the maintenance of the Quaid’s Mazar, which was updated on April 18, 2016.

A 10-point Oridannce was issued to keep the sanctity of Quaid-e-Azam’s Mazar in Karachi.

According to one of the important point of the Ordinance, “no person shall organize, convene, or take part in any meeting or demonstration or procession or engage in political activity of any kind within the Mazar, or within the distance of ten feet of the outer boundary of therein.”

Another noteworthy clause mentioned, states that no person shall do any act or behave in any manner which is or tends to be derogatory to the sanctity and the dignity of the Quaid-e-Azam’s Mazar.

The last clause clearly states that “whoever contravenes any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may exceed to three years or with fine or with both.”

It is clear under this Ordinance that one who disobeys the laws and doesn’t respect the dignity of the national monument will he held punishable.

And yesterday it came to light the way the Mazar was desecration by the vice president of the PML-N party, Maryam Nawaz.

PML-N leaders Maryam Nawaz, her husband Captain (retd.) Safdar and their goons standing within the mausoleum of the Quaid chanted political slogans.

PML-N has not just disrespected the Father of the Nation but also the sacrifices of all who fought for the Independence.

Not only former PM Nawaz Sharif’s daughter, Maryam Nawaz but also her husband Captain (retd.) Safdar and their goons should accordingly be imprisoned for a period of three years to compensate for the uncalled-actions in Karachi.

It was reported earlier by Baaghi TV, Captain (retd.) Safdar had been arrested on early Monday morning, from the private hotel he was staying at with his wife, PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz.

Police forcibly entered the hotel by opening the door of Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s room and took Captain Safdar with them. He went to Karachi with Maryam Nawaz Sharif and stayed at a local hotel after the PDM meeting.

According to recent reports, the court has released Captain (r) Safdar on bail.
