Two Vice Presidents in a head-to-head brawl

Washington, 7th October: Republican Vice president, Mike Pence, faces his Democratic rival Kamala Harris in Salt Lake City today at the US time.
According to Baaghi TV, Mike Pence, the current vice president and his Democratic challenger, California Sen. Kamala Harris, are poised to meet for a debate presenting different visions for the crisis that the States is going through.
As per the Telegraph, Mike Pence and Kamala Harris will go head-to-head for the only vice-presidential debate of the campaign in Utah on Wednesday (Thursday in the UK).
The debate will throw up some surprises, it is unlikely to be filled with the bad-tempered brawl that was seen last week during the presidential debate between President Trump and Joe Biden.
The Telegraph reports that the debate will start on Wednesday in Salt Lake City, Utah, at 7 pm MDT (2 am Thursday GMT).
The 90-minute debate will be moderated by Susan Page from the newspaper USA Today and divided into 10-minute segments.
Each debate will be streamed by all major US networks, including ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox News, CNN and MSNBC.
The Telegraph will be live streaming the debate.
For Harris, the debate is her highest-profile opportunity to vocalize how the Democratic presidential nominee, Joe Biden, would stabilize the US, especially when it comes to resolving the pandemic and addressing racial injustice.
Meanwhile, Mr Pence is likely to attack Ms Harris as a “radical socialist” beholden to her party’s progressives, and challenge her previous flip-flopping on key issues like universal public healthcare.
The debate is rather a chance for voters to decide whether Pence and Harris are in a position to step into the presidency at a moment’s notice.
