Washington, 7th October: In response to the US President’s tweets, Joe Biden suggested with a withering Gif that Donald Trump should “get off Twitter”.

Mr. Trump uploaded around 40 tweets and retweets on Tuesday evening, in which he clearly dismissed COVID-19 as a serious threat despite the fact that several of his aides, including one of his closest advisers Stephen Miller, has tested positive.

He also attacked “disgraceful” Mr. Biden, criticized Hillary Clinton, and uploaded a tweet that there would be no action prior to the elections on economic-stimulus legislation.

The announcement followed shortly after the Federal Reserve chairman said that such help was essential for the country’s post-pandemic recovery. After the announcement, stocks fell.

Following the string of tweets, Mr. Biden shared a GIF with an image that showed him saying “get off Twitter”. the caption said: “Please”.

Joe Biden’s tweet received more than 100,000 likes.

Earlier, Mr. Biden had commented that he and Trump “shouldn’t have a debate” as long as the president remains COVID positive. The democrat nominee shared with the reporters in Pennsylvania that he was “looking forward to being able to debate him” but said that “we’re going to have to follow very strict guidelines.”

After 3 days of treatment for COVID-19 at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre, Mr. Trump returned to the White House on Monday.

While boarding a plane to Delaware, Mr. Biden commented: “I think if he still has COVID, then we shouldn’t have a debate.” The next debate between the two is scheduled for October 15, with a third one scheduled to take place on October 22.

According to credible sources, Mr. Biden tested negative for COVID-19 on Tuesday. If elected, Mr. Biden, at 77, would become the oldest person to become president.
