Islamabad (23rd Aug, 2019): Turkish Ambassador expresses hope of improving ‘educational linkage’ between Pakistan and Turkey. 

According to reports of Baaghi TV, Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul, Turiksh Ambassador to Pakistan has expressed hopes to make ‘educational linkage’ between the states stronger, allowing for more chances for students to participate in exchange programs.

Addressing the graduating class of Turkish students who learned Urdu from the Allama Iqbal Open University based in Rawalpindi, he stated that the government of Turkey will encourage cooperative partnership among Pakistan and Turkey to help improve understanding and contemporary knowledge between the two.

Appreciating the efforts of AIOU’s management, he added that he is excited at the prospect of Turkish students having learned how to read, write and speak the Pakistan’s national language.

Moreover, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Zia Ul Qayyum, added that the university hopes to introduce a ‘concept paper’ so as to actively engage in international collaboration with Central Asian states in the future.
