According to a Baaghi TV report, Sikh protesters in Delhi waved their flag over Lal Qila Delhi.

Instead of the route set by the Delhi Police, a large number of protesting farmers entered Delhi by another route and managed to reach the Red Fort. Hundreds of farmers held flags of their organization in their hands. One of the farmers, advancing, hoisted his flag on a pole at the Red Fort.

While the Red Fort, the pioneer of Indian culture, has been closed, curfew-like conditions have prevailed in many areas.

On the other hand, the protesting Sikh youth say that we are claiming that this parade will be a part of the syllabus of the world.

According to the youth, there are 3 lakh protesters outside Delhi. Farmers are turning 200,000 tractors towards Delhi. A 100 km long tractor parade will be held in Delhi on the Republic Day of India. Wherever farmers sit on state borders, we will march there for 100 km.

Farmer leaders say Indian police and administration have already arrested hundreds of workers.

It is to be noted that farmers have been protesting in India for the last three months while several rounds of talks with the government have failed.

Most of the participants in the ongoing farmers’ sit-in on the Sanghu border have come from Punjab and Haryana and are followers of the Sikh religion. They were supposed to go to New Delhi and record their protest at the historic Ram Leela Gardens, but after being stopped by security forces, they staged a sit-in.

This protest is not a single movement. On November 26, 2020, 2.5 million people went on a 24-hour general strike in protest of new agricultural laws passed by the country’s parliament in September.
