A case has been filed against a KP provincial minister for violating Corona SOPs

April 27, 2021: According to Baaghi TV, a case has been registered against the provincial minister for violating corona SOPs. A case has been registered against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Minister Timur Saleem Jhagra for violating Corona SOPs. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Minister Timur Saleem Jhagra attended the Iftar party despite the ban. A case against the provincial health minister has been registered in Sarband police station on the complaint of Assistant Commissioner Adil Ayub. The owner and manager of a private restaurant have also been named in the case.

The Iftar party was organized at a local hotel in Peshawar and was attended by party workers along with the provincial minister. The hotel management said that we were only asked to open a restaurant. The PTI leaders had brought with them food and chefs.

District Administration Peshawar took immediate notice of the news on social media and District Administration Peshawar sealed Hujra Restaurant. Photos and news went viral on social media that hundreds of people, including Health Minister Timur Saleem Jhagra, were breaking their fast at Hujra Restaurant. The district administration team raided the restaurant.

According to the manager of Hujra restaurant, they forbade the health minister to eat inside the restaurant. According to the manager, the participants brought food with them from outside, including health minister Timur Saleem Jhagra. A letter has been issued to the police to take action against the manager and owner of the restaurant.
