In the Punjab budget, a separate budget for South Punjab has been prepared

June 14, 2021: Provincial Energy Minister Akhtar Malik says huge sums have been set aside in the budget for education, health, energy, agriculture and industry.

According to the report of Baaghi TV, the provincial energy minister Akhtar Malik has said in his statement that the public budget will be presented by the Punjab government today. Akhtar Malik said that in the budget of Punjab, a separate budget of South Punjab has been prepared and even the budget book of South Punjab has been published separately.

It should be noted that today the separate budgets of Punjab and South Punjab will be presented in the House of the Provincial Assembly. A budget of about Rs 2,600 billion will be presented.

It has been proposed to set aside Rs 196 billion under the annual development program for South Punjab. The funds allocated for the development schemes of South Punjab cannot be spent elsewhere. In addition, huge sums of money will be allocated in the budget for environment, minorities, endowments and tourism projects.
