The Afghan Taliban will decide whether Pakistan recognizes Israel or not, claims Israeli newspaper

Israeli newspaper Haaretz has claimed that the Afghan Taliban will decide whether Pakistan should recognize Israel or not.
According to the newspaper, as Prime Minister, Imran Khan has turned to opponents for further evidence of links to Israel. A strange, contradictory geopolitical quadrant will indeed decide the possible identities: the Taliban, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Israel.
The paper believes that Pakistan is slowly moving towards relations with Israel. According to Haaretz, the Afghan Taliban will decide whether Pakistan recognizes Israel or not.
According to the newspaper, the fact is that diplomatic and military engagements between Pakistan and Israel have been a regular occurrence, even in the last decades when it was incomprehensible to formalize relations between the two countries.
However, it is keen to establish formal diplomatic relations with Israel, but not through US orders, but through Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Where the UAE formalized its relations with Israel last year, Saudi Arabia has stepped up relations (softening public opinion that has frightened Palestinians) but without official recognition.
Saudi Arabia has a huge influence behind the Ibrahim Accords and is pushing for the recognition of Israel beyond the Arab world in order to normalize normalcy. For which Pakistan has been marked as the world’s second-most populous Muslim state and the only officially nuclear state.
On the other hand, Israel has opened its first embassy in the Gulf in Abu Dhabi. Economic and trade agreements were also reached between the UAE and Israel. It should be noted that relations between the United Arab Emirates and Israel were restored last year.
