The federal minister and head of the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), Asad Umar has said that the moderna Corona vaccine received from the United States would be used in a special case which is that it will be given to those on work and study visas abroad.
Baaghi TV: Federal Minister Asad Umar in his statement on social media website Twitter said that 2.5 million doses of moderna vaccine have been received from the US government.

He said that the moderna vaccine would be given to those going abroad on work and study visas to countries who are only accepting certain vaccine and their certification.
He further said that US President Joe Biden’s progressive covid policy is highly appreciated.
It may be recalled that the Ministry of Health had said yesterday that the United States would send 2.5 million doses of the moderna vaccine to Pakistan today.
More doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine are expected this month, while a shortage of Pfizer, AstraZeneca in Islamabad has exacerbated the plight of those traveling abroad.
