Lahore 12th July: The date of Dilip Kumar’s Chehlum in India, UAE and Pakistan has been announced.
Baaghi TV: Bollywood actor Yusuf Khan popularly known as ‘King of Emotions’, died at the age of 98 on July 7.
Earlier on July 5, Dilip Kumar’s family friend Faisal Farooqui asked his fans to pray for his recovery as he was feeling better after being treated at Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital.

However, Dilip Sahib could not survive and Bollywood’s ‘Tragedy King’ breathed his last at 7:30 am on Wednesday, July 7 at the same Hospital in Mumbai.
Mr. Faisal announced the tragic news on Dilip Kumar’s verified Twitter account, which read, “With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, a few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him, we return. – Faisal Farooqui.”

Dilip Kumar’s burial took place on July 7 at Juhu Qabrastan at Santacruz Mumbai with full state protocols.

However, the actor’s ritual Chehlum card is circulating on social media. According to a card seen on social media, the Chehlum Majlis for Yousuf Khan will be held on Thursday, August 26 at India Gate Taj Hotel Mumbai at 7:30 pm Indian time, 6:30 pm UAE time and 7:00 pm Pakistan time.
The Chehlum (Forty Days) ceremony will also be conducted online on YouTube where fans will be able to join in the Qur’an recitation and prayers. Maulana Manzar Ali Arfi will lead the Chehlum prayers.
Dilip Kumar’s mourners at the Chehlum ceremony include the actor’s wife Saira Bano, Shah Rukh Khan and Riaz Hassan.
