CIA Director Accuses Dick Cheney for Benazir Bhutto’s Assassination, Video Viral

A video clip of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) director’s interview given to Russia Today is circulating on social media. In the viral video, it can be seen that the CIA director, when asked by the host, said that he was sensationally revealed by the United States (US) official investigation team that Dick Cheney is behind the assassination of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto.

According to the details, CIA withheld secret information about Benazir Bhutto’s assassination for eight years on direct orders from Dick Cheney, who is an American politician and businessman who served as the 46th Vice President (VP) of the US. Sources reveal that he also pressurized the intelligence community to provide secret information and reports regarding the matter.

He had withheld information about eight years of secret counterterrorism programs from Congress on direct orders to the Chinese president’s aide and White House deputy chief of staff.

According to a New York Times report, the CIA withheld information about eight years of secret anti-terrorism programs by Congress on the direct orders of former Vice President Dick Cheney. The agency’s director and former Secretary of Defense, Leon Edward Panetta, told the Senate and House Intelligence Committees that the two men had direct knowledge regarding the matter.

Behind Cheney’s report was the decision by Congress to cover up the confidential matter which further deepened the mystery that Bush administration has made the program and its secrets a top priority.

Panetta denied the allegations when he first heard about it on June 23, 2009. However, the next day, in separate secret meetings, he informed the two intelligence committees about it.

The question is how the CIA Democrats and Republicans have been embroiled in a heated debate over sensitive programs to Congress since May, when Speaker Nancy Pelosi failed to disclose to the agency in 2002 that she was involved in waterboarding a terrorist suspect. Though, the claim was rejected by Leon Panetta.
