Suspect Arrested In Lahore’s Model Nayab Murder Case

Lahore, 16th July: A suspect has been arrested in Lahore’s model Nayab’s murder case, who was strangled to death in her residence last week.

According to details, police on Friday arrested a suspect seen in the CCTV video footage recovered from Nayab Nadeem’s residence in Lahore’s Defence area.

The police investigating team has said the forensic reports will further clarify the details of the video recovered last week from the model’s house.

In the latest development, police caught hold of the closed-circuit footage and with its help, they were able to find the suspect named Umair from the outskirts of Lahore, Punjab.

Meanwhile, a police investigation is underway to know about Umair’s whereabouts at the time of Nayab’s murder.

However, police said that it can not be confirmed that he is the murderer yet, only a forensic report will clarify further.

While investigating the case, police also found that the net of the bathroom window was torn, raising suspicion that the suspect could have fled from there.
