Vaccination centers across the country have been opened, according to The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), after the one-day Eid holiday sanctioned by the government.
NCOC stated in a Twitter post to get vaccinated as soon as possible since the COVID-19 is still running rampant. They further stated that the centers will only remain closed only on Sundays, once a week.

All vaccination centers were given a one-day day off on the first day of Eid-ul-Adha, but have since opened starting the second day, which was yesterday. In the past 24 hours, another 40 lives have been claimed by the disease, raising the death toll count to 22,928.
According to the reported statistics by the NCOC, total tests conducted in the last 24 hours were 25,215 out of which 1425 were positive, amounting to a 5.65% positivity rate.
A number of patients are in critical conditions in hospitals, with Sindh being the most affected province, having a total of 361,160 cases out of 998,609. Punjab stands in second place of affectees with 351,592 cases. The NCOC has strongly advised the nation to get vaccinated as soon as possible. As of currently, a total of 24,548,441 vaccination doses have been administered.
It is to be noted that at the time of Eid holidays announcement, the government gave vaccination centers only a 1-day off, the first day of Eid. The centers have been open since yesterday, and people are encouraged to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
