Lahore, 24th July: After the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the country, National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has made vaccination mandatory for domestic air travel.

According to details, the National and Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has issued directions for people to get vaccinated prior to domestic air travel.

A notification issued by the NCOC states that only vaccinated citizens aged 18 and above will be allowed to undertake domestic flights.

The notification further elaborates:

  • The restriction is for domestic travel only.
  • A person traveling from Pakistan to abroad or from abroad to Pakistan is exempted from the above restriction.
  • The following categories are exempted from this restriction after due verification of relevant documents:
  1. Partially vaccinated individuals
  2. Foreign nationals
  3. Pakistani nationals having documentary proof of vaccination abroad
  4. Patients who are clinically advised against vaccination due to the risk of reaction
