New Zealand announces big facility for employees

Auckland:  Kiwi government has announced ten days of sick leave for the convenience of employees, but for this leave employee will have to stay in the job for at least 6 months.

According to a report by a foreign news agency, the New Zealand government has passed a new holiday law for the convenience of employees, under which workers are entitled to at least ten days of illness after six months of service.

New Zealand Minister Michael Wood said the decision would help keep citizens and workplaces healthy.

“During the Corona crisis, we saw how important it is to stay at home in case of illness, so we decided to take a ten-day leave, but to help the citizens and prevent the spread of the disease,” he said.

Michael Wood said that research has shown that in case of illness, the ability of employees to work is reduced by 20% and healthy people work three times more.

According to media reports, following the government’s move, New Zealand employees can take up to 20 days of sick leave a year.
