Lahore, 22nd August: Female victim Ayesha Akram will identify 40 people at the police station who were involved in harassing her at Minar-e-Pakistan on Independence Day.

According to details, female Tik Tok star Ayesha Akram, who was harassed near Minar-e-Pakistan on August 14, will be taken to the police station on Monday to identify 40 men who were spotted in the incident.

One week has passed since the incident, but so far only 66 out of 400 people have been arrested. The Punjab government has claimed to have arrested 100 people. meanwhile, 3 PHA officers stationed in Greater Iqbal Park have also been fired.

DIG Investigation Shariq Jamal said that other accused in the Minar-e-Pakistan case will be arrested soon.

According to reports, police have been deployed outside Ayesha Akram’s residence to provide her with full security. Police have also conducted medical of Ayesha’s partner Rambo.

According to sources in the police, the arrested accused will be paraded in front of Ayesha and Rambo on Monday to identify them.

Police said that no one will be allowed to meet Ayesha without her permission. Ayesha has informed that her parents have fallen ill due to severe mental anguish and ongoing inquiries from different agencies.

The victim, Ayesha Akram also clarified that on August 14, she neither threw a flying kiss towards the crowd nor she brought the Indian flag with her to the park.
She appealed to refrain from spreading false rumors about her. She also expressed satisfaction over the police investigation and said that she had lost hope of survival but it is the police who saved her, especially the role of the Dolphin Force is very important.
