First flight of the British Airways had an emergency landing in Tashkent; a female passenger on the flight from Islamabad to London passed away.

According to details, a woman of Pakistani origin died on a British Airways flight from Islamabad to London due to sudden illness. The Civil Aviation officials claim, the flight BA 260 left Islamabad for London. The plane was approaching Tashkent when a female passenger suddenly had a heart attack, which proved fatal.

The captain of the plane contacted the control tower of Tashkent and asked for permission for a medical emergency landing at Tashkent airport. After getting permission, the plane was landed at the airport. A doctor and an ambulance were immediately called, but the woman did not make it through the attack and passed away.

It may be recalled that on March 2 of this year, an Indian Airline’s plane had to make an emergency landing at Karachi Airport due to the death of a passenger during the flight as well.
