Faisalabad: On Thursday, a man killed his female coworker at a bank after she rejected his marriage proposal in a Faisalabad area.

The incident took place inside a Bank of Punjab, Saddar branch on the Jhang Road, 25 kilometers from Faisalabad, within the authority of Theekriwala police station.

Police have filed a case against the suspect based on the victim’s brother’s complaint.

He said that his sister, who worked as a customer service representative at the same bank, had been forced to marry him by the branch manager, Rana Mansoor.

The manager was already married and has three children with his first wife, according to the lawsuit, and his sister had declined his proposal.

After a case was made against him, the man was arrested by police.

He had been harassing the woman for a long time and to appease his ego, the accused had unjustly killed Alia Javed by firing a deadly pistol.  The case was registered on the complaint of Yousuf Javed, brother of the victim.

The FIR said that Alia Javed, a resident of Faisalabad, was working as a Customer Services Officer at Punjab Bank Branch Ada Sudhar on October 7 at 6 pm.

Victim’s brother also said, “When I went to the bank to pick up my sister, Mansoor Ali, Operations Manager of Punjab Bankada Sudhar, also came out of the gate with a pistol in his hand. Mansoor opened fire from her  back and killed her directly,”

According to the FIR, accused Mansoor told Alia in a loud voice that if you cannot marry me, I will not allow you to marry anyone else. He died on the spot while the accused went inside the bank again saying that his goal has been achieved and locked the door from inside.

And, to satisfy his ego, the accused killed Alia Javed by shooting dead her with a flaming gun.
