Wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan, who played a key role in the historic victory against India, termed Shaheen Shah Afridi’s bowling as the turning point of the match.

Addressing a press conference after the match, Mohammad Rizwan said:

“Congratulations to the whole of Pakistan. Shaheen Afridi’s 3 wickets was a turning point. Babar Azam and I had a plan.”

He said that the effort is to take the Pakistan team forward, playing a match with India did not make me feel any different, I had not played a match against India before.

Shaheen Shah Afridi while talking said that I congratulate all Pakistanis. I am very happy. Our bowlers bowled brilliantly and the batsmen also showed their full potential.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the match, Virat Kohli said that Pakistan bowled well in the beginning due to which they could not play well, the first three wickets could not recover after falling early.

He said that it was not easy for Pakistani bowlers to hit in front of good bowling. The pitch was very slow in the beginning and Pakistan bowled quality.

“Pakistani bowlers proved their class and outclassed us. Aws also caused problems in bowling,” Kohli said.
