Following Indian aggression, the Punjab government has taken important steps to fully activate the Civil Defense Department and has started mock exercises in this regard. These exercises are ongoing in various cities across the province, with the aim of further improving the capabilities of providing assistance to citizens in emergency situations.

These exercises of Civil Defense and Rescue 1122 are being conducted to strengthen safety awareness among citizens and the process of providing immediate assistance in emergency situations. Civil Defense volunteers, Rescue 1122 personnel, officers and workers of police, fire brigade and other related organizations are participating in these exercises.

The exercises are being conducted to prepare for rescue and response in the event of various emergencies such as fire, earthquake, natural disasters and other crises. The aim of these mock exercises is to highlight the importance of emergency services among citizens and enable them to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.

Civil Defense Department officials say that through these exercises, citizens are being made aware of emergency response techniques. These mock exercises are being conducted in major cities of the province as well as in small areas to keep citizens safe at all levels. Officials have requested the public to cooperate in these exercises and play their part in making them successful.
