A close relative of CM Sindh passes away due to COVID-19

Karachi, 10th April: The pandemic is spreading rapidly across Pakistan and the number of infected patients in Punjab province is soaring high, however, the number of reported deaths is most from Sindh.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, CM Sindh’s brother-in-law, Mehdi Shah passed away succumbing to coronavirus late Thursday.

As per sources, Mehdi Shah, brother-in-law of the CM Sindh, Murad Ali Shah, had been hospitalized for the past three weeks due to coronavirus and took his last breath yesterday.

It is reported that Mr.Mehdi Shah had recently returned from Iraq and had contracted the virus from there. He was kept under observation at a private hospital in Karachi. Thursday evening it was announced that he lost his life to the deadly disease.

Political leaders and prominent personalities across Pakistan have expressed their grief over this loss. Bilawal Zardari, Chairman of PPP offered his condolences and has prayed for the higher ranks of Mehdi Ali Shah.

It may be noted that the number of deaths reported from Sindh has increased up to 21 now. The first case of coronavirus was identified from the Sindh province, who is also one of the first ones to recover and has donated his plasma for other infected patients.

Baaghi TV also expresses its grief over the departed soul and pray for his higher ranks in Jannah.
