COVID-19: Pakistan death toll surges with 4,601 infected cases

Lahore, 10th April: According to reports of Baaghi TV, there are 284 new cases reported in Pakistan which has risen the total toll to 4,601 within 24 hours.

According to reports presented by the spokesperson of the National Command and Operation Centre, there are now a total of 4,601 confirmed cases in the country with the addition of 284 cases in the last 24 hours.

There are 4 reported deaths in the country in the last 24 hours increasing the death toll to 66 so far. The total number of patients recovered is 727.

The outbreak of coronavirus in the Punjab province is still going on a rapid rate, with the number reaching 2,279, Sindh is following behind with a number of 1,128 infected patients, KP has 620 confirmed patients, 219 are in Balochistan, 215 are from Gilgit-Baltistan, 107 are from Islamabad and 33 are from Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

However, the majority of deaths are reported from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where the toll has reached 22, Sindh is following with a number of 21, 18 are reported dead from Punjab, 3 from GB, and 1 each from Balochistan and the Capital Territory Islamabad so far.

The total number of tests conducted in the country are 54706, with the newly conducted 2,478 tests in the last 24 hours.

There are 587 hospitals with COVID-19 isolation case management facilities across the country with 11,508 beds.

1,402 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised so far with 31 in a critical state.

There are 346 Quarantine facilities with 17,559 cases present in them.
