Lahore, 13th April: Keeping in view the current situation amidst the pandemic, a meeting will be held today, chaired by Prime Minister, Imran Khan.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, a meeting of the National Coordination Committee, chaired by PM Khan will be held today in order to take important decisions regarding the restrictions and lockdown in the country due to COVID-19.
The meeting starting in a while will be attended by the ministers of the federal and provincial government. The increasing number of coronavirus cases in the country will be observed and the decision regarding the extension of the lockdown will be taken today.
It is to be noted that due to the coronavirus, the government has announced the lockdown till April 14 all over the country, and the government is likely to expand the lockdown due to the increase in coronavirus casualties in Pakistan.

However, the ease in the lockdown will be considered, the construction companies will likely be ordered to start from the 14th of April and resume their operations.
The officials from NDMA will brief about the corona medical equipment in the meeting. It will be discussed whether to open the borders for trading purpose or not?
It is expected that the flight operation from Karachi will likely to resume. The meeting presided by the PM will clarify the situation of the testing facility made available and compulsory before flight operations.
Punjab Provincial Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid yesterday said that the decision to increase lockdown in Punjab province will be decided at a meeting of the National Coordination Committee.
Lockdown of the affected areas will not be eased. Coronavirus has the highest number of cases on the GT road belt. Some areas of Lahore have been completely sealed as more virus cases emerged from there. In addition, diagnostic tests are being conducted in the vegetable markets.
Balochistan government has extended the lockdown for 2 more weeks. Lockdown in Balochistan will continue till April 21 and all the shopping mall, markets, educational institutes and public transport will remain closed.
