COVID-19: Increase in Punjab Toll with 84 new cases

Lahore, 24th April: With the leniency in the lockdown in Punjab province, there is an increase in the reported cases.

According to Baaghi TV, with the addition of 84 new cases of coronavirus in Punjab, the number of people infected has risen to 4,851.

With 58 more cases of COVID-19 in Lahore, the total number has come to 943. 14 new cases of corona are reported in Vehari, the total number has reached 49. There are 14 new cases of corona in Narowal, increasing the number to 14.

There are 14 cases reported in Narowal, 3 new cases emerged in Khanewal the number rose to 6, and 1 each case has been detected in Attock, Multan, and Gujranwala.

The number of reported deaths in Punjab has gone to 68, while, 924 patients have recovered from the disease.

The lockdown in Punjab has been extended for 15 more days and people are advised to stay at home during Ramadan to control the further spread of the virus.

In Sindh, CM Syed Murad Ali Shah is also considering extending the lockdown on demands of the health care staff.
