Lahore (27th April, 2020): Islamabad office closed after Coronavirus identified among 8 employees of a private TV channel.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, the Islamabad office of private TV channel ARY, has been closed after eight employees were diagnosed with COVID-19.

ARY owner, Salman Iqbal, posted on social networking site Twitter that the office was closed after 8 people from ARY Islamabad tested positive. It was reported that 20 employees were tested, out of which 8 were identified as COVID-19 positive.

The Islamabad office was closed due to the spread of Corona and employees were instructed to stay at home.

It should be noted that earlier in Islamabad, employees of Hum News have also been diagnosed with COVID-19. Coronavirus has also spread among the employees of City 42 in Lahore. The lives of journalist workers across the country are in danger, especially those working in the field.

Earlier, 25 employees of the same channel in India were diagnosed with coronavirus, while 53 journalists in Mumbai tested positive for corona.
