Narowal Sports City case, and Ahsan Iqbal’s non-appearance in court, what did the court order?
The hearing of the Narowal Sports City case in the accountability court in Islamabad was adjourned till June 8, Baaghi TV reported.
NAB Prosecutor Wasim Javed appeared in the Accountability Court Islamabad. PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal did not appear in court due to coronavirus. The court asked the NAB prosecutor what happened to the reference against Ahsan Iqbal. NAB officials replied that the inquiry has been completed, the reference is in the preparation stages.

The court directed to submit progress report in Narowal Sports City case. The court adjourned the hearing of the case till June 8 and ordered Ahsan Iqbal to appear.

It is to be noted that Ahsan Iqbal was arrested by NAB, Ahsan Iqbal was released on bail by the court after which he was released from Adiala Jail. Upon his release from jail, Ahsan Iqbal was summoned again by the NAB and asked to submit his passport so that he could not escape abroad.
